Bavaria

We flew from London to Munich and loved the city of Munich! We saw the Glockenspeil ring at 11:00 a.m. and I think every tourist in Munich was on the plaza. There were musicians around every corner playing classical music, it was fun and different. The city is absolutely clean, beautiful and filled with flowers.

We stopped at Daucau Jewish Concentration camp from WWII as we left Munich.
We visited Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, one of King Ludwig II's many gorgeous castles.

Then we visited another King Ludwig home Castle Linderhoff, his villa where he stayed about 20 days a month. It was heavy Baroque and my favorite. Oberammergau was a fun little country town and the cows and their bells were cute and charming!

We visited the Golden Roof in Innsbruck, where the King would sit out on his balcony and watch the knights joust to their death. Isn't that great entertainment.
